The information collected and the exchanges with the stakeholders, including as part of the expert group on the CBAM, have outlined possibilities for simplifications and improvement of the CBAM. The Union is committed to ensure a smooth roll-out of the CBAM during the post-transitional period starting on 1 January 2026.
